  22.          HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR 15.22 EXECUTIBLES
  23. --------------------------------------------------------

  26. In order to use these patch files you need your original
  27. PCBoard Version 15.22 executibles.  
  28.  
  29. Step 1.
  30.  Create a NEW PATCH directory on your system and place
  31.  ALL the contents of this archive in the new directory.
  32.     Example C:\PATCH
  33.  
  34. Step 2.
  35.  Copy your PCBOARD*.EXE files into a TEMPORARY 
  36.  location. NOTE: This can not be the same location as
  37.  your patch files!
  38.     Example C:\PATCH\TEMP
  39.  
  40. Step 3.
  41.  Run PATCH.EXE to update your files.
  42.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARD.RTP
  43.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP LOCAL.RTP
  44.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARDM.RTP
  45.  Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARD2.RTP

  47. Step 4.
  48.  Backup your 15.22 PCBOARD Executibles! Copy the new
  49.  15.23 executibles into your PCBoard directory.
  50.  Note: Your current 15.22 PCBOARD executibles may have
  51.  a READ-ONLY attribute.   You will need to turn this
  52.  OFF to copy the new files over.
  53.         Example: ATTRIB -R *.EXE (to turn off)
  54.                  ATTRIB +R *.EXE (to turn ON)
  55.  
  56. Step 5.
  57.  You're DONE! Congratulations you are now upgraded to 
  58.  PCBoard Version 15.23!
  59.  
  60. If you have any difficulty upgrading your 15.22 PCBoard
  61. to the newer 15.23 software.  You may request the new
  62. executibles directly from the staff on Salt Air.
  63. Simply send them a message stating clearly your problem,
  64. and they will attach the new files to an email message
  65. to you.
